urgh. im so freaking tired after sleeping away almost half the day. damnit. and i still have got this bloody assignment to complete and hand in on tuesday. hope that i wont do a shitass job of it though i feel that im more or less on the right track now..
why isit always that when the deadline draws closer and closer, the more interesting information we can find? like it doenst matter how early you start? heh. destined to do last minute work? my ass. what a lousy excuse.
anyhow, celebrated randall's birthday as a class at mike's place yesterday (din's was suppose to be included, but we kinda celebrated it on thurday)- quite a few random people around..good food and cool company though. enjoyed the cured salmon from mike (i suppose the formula he got from chef ken was good) and the squid with... duno what? hahas! but there were like spring onions in it. and maybe some garlic as well? it was really nice- chewing into the squid. tastes refreshing. then there were lamb chops, chicken wings, godknowswhat sausage- courtesy of wei xiang, mussels by randall (the only thing bothering was the smell of it cause he didnt have time to give it a good soak. but the sauce was sexy.. creamy and garlicky. yumm!)
anyhow. going home by cab took a cool 20min. but i think the last bad experience i had from stupid comfort cab company really ruined my trust in cabbing. cause i kept wondering if the uncle would take me on a ride like the guy did the last time. really epitomizes the phrase of one bad apple spoiling the whole crop. or something to that effect. it didnt help that din and qi wen encountered a bad taxi driver while going down to mike's place. apparently the guy was pretty rude asking them whether they are going to toh yi drive or jalan jurong kechill. and he got pissed when they didnt have small change to pay for the cab fare. so in the end qi wen had to take a cab down to the coffee shop to change his money. goodness. bloody comfort should start re-training their drivers. either that or root out such drivers. stupid idiot. and it's the second time such an incident happened so it just say so much about their company.
blogger's slow.. like the box cant keep up with the amount of words im typing. and it just stops there for a while before realising that 'oh- more words are type' and proceeds to churn out the words. haha. kinda funny actually.
