was reading the news the other day and they had a story about how parents are sending their 2,3year old child to classes that teaches them 3rd language and all that.

kinda envy them (the kids) for the opportunities they have in life nowadays- i mean, who learns a 3rd language 15 years ago at the age of 3?! i would say generally that even so, the 3rd language would be something like malay or tamil (or chinese, dependent on your race). who the hell learns french?! or japanese? or maybe even german? i believe that french and japanese are the most commonly learnt language here. maybe cause we think it sounds cool and all? hhaahhas, like 'bonjour' sounds atas. (im sorry, the only french word i know is bonjour. does roux count? hahas! i dont even know the word's origin..)

but anyhow.. it may be interesting. but isnt 3years old abit young to start learning about such stuff? then and again, these kids are taking other lessons as well.

goodness. what's the world coming to nowadays? and dont they feel stress? wont they feel stress?

and imagine this: im discussing with my friends how we use to wear those singlets with holes in them when we were young. but children next time would be discussing what languages they learnt when they were young.

freakishly scary. everyone trying to win the rat race that's never going to end.
