school's drawing to an end. i would miss waking up early to catch the first bus, sitting and sleeping on the 2nd bus to tampines and on the last bus, think about why secondary school students dont move in when there's so much space at the back of the bus.
would miss those crazy moments in locker-room, trying to get some space to change amidst all the squealing of the HTM girls and their spraying of hairsprays. and after school sessions of nuaing outside the cafe, talking about our day and laughing at stories told.
what i wouldnt miss is the rushing home at the end of a school day to let my clothes have enough time spent soaking in the bleach+water+FAB solution to remove all the stains before washing it. and the ironing of clothes. and the sian-ness of realising that i had missed a stain and think of whether it's possible to cover it up.
and maybe when we return to the business school, i would miss the chef's jokes and reactions to some things that we say or do. like how chef jason gives lame jokes and smiles when we cant answer questions, how chef desmond tells us to pretend we never hear something when he just said something he didnt want us to repeat, chef eileen with her sexy food, chef fum with his quotes of do things with pride and lots more, chef marc with him dumping things and nagging, chef lilian being the mother telling us not to put those plastic containers in the dishwasher cause of the heat (though we do that in other kitchens!), chef joyce and her recycling and saving the earth, chef dieter with his snorts and laughter, chef travor being like a student like all of us, chef jasmine being the lao da, chef ken and his weird moods.
bleagh.
